Outrigger Team California (OTC) was established in the year 2000, and is comprised of a selective group of elite waterman from Southern California. OTC consists of 15 members, and is a member of the Southern California Outrigger Racing Association (SCORA).
In addition to competing in the Southern and Northern California race circuit, they compete in both National and International events throughout the world. The team annually travels to Hawaii to compete in the World Championships, racing from Molokai back to Oahu. OTC also travels to Canada and competes in the Canadian National Championships, and New York to race in the Liberty World Challenge. Along with participating in nine consecutive US Championships in the Masters division, this team is making a difference for all ocean enthusiasts.
They are also sponsored by Maui Jim Sunglasses, Xcel Wetsuits, Kialoa Paddles, CanoeSports, and Innovate Partners.
