Holly Beck is a surfer, explorer, adventurer, and inspirer originally from Palos Verdes, CA. Now, she calls wherever she happens to be sleeping at night “home”, which often includes a small house surrounded by fruit trees, four happy dogs, and walking distance to her favorite surf spot in Nicaragua.
After achieving an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Masters in Marketing from UCSD, she spent seven years traveling the world as a competitive surfer. Recently, Holly stopped competing to spend more time focusing on travel to remote locations that offer the opportunity to explore new waves and interact with different people and cultures.
Holly is passionate about travel, connecting with new people, and inspiring others. She combined all of her passions when she founded a surf and yoga voluntourism retreat in Northern Nicaragua, Sauve Dulce. At the retreat, guests get an opportunity to learn how to surf or improve their skills, practice yoga, ride horses on the beach, and interact with the local community alongside non-profit organizations.
