Being in her early 20’s and growing up in Honolulu (Waikiki), Hawaii, Candice has propelled herself into some incredible feats. Not only is she sponsored by Oxbow, Surftech, Maui Jim, Pualani Swimwear, Lahui Kai, and Bark, she has also won both the Women’s and the Open Pro Stand Up Paddle (SUP) divisions at the 2008 Duke’s Ocean Festival Contest.
She spends long days training and finds motivation in big events and competing against some of the world’s top watermen. Candice is a joyful and positive person who loves to spend time with her family, camping, fishing, and laughing. She is the true definition of ‘being ocean minded’.
