Shawn Parkin is a life-long surfer and outdoor enthusiast from Orange County, California. He picked up a camera for the first time in college, when knee injuries forced him to put surfing on hold for a while. To ease the pain of not being able to surf, Parkin began to shoot photos. But he didn’t get serious about it until a couple of years while working on his graphic design career. Parkin began shooting for his employer at the time, Ocean Minded, and was hooked. Discovering his passion for photography provided not only an amazing creative outlet, but it keeps Parkin outdoors, experiencing new things, and meeting interesting people. Live the life you love!!
