Twenty-five year old Hailey Partridge from the Westside of Santa Cruz, California, describes herself as mellow, silly, and shy. She and her twin sister Sierra grew up learning to love and respect the ocean and together they have traveled the world, serving as serving as Brand Ambassadors for Ocean Minded, O’Neill, Hobie, the O’Neill Surf Shop, Betty Belts and Gorilla Grip. They began swimming before they could walk and were surfing on their own by age 9. Surfing has given them the opportunity to not only travel, but also spread awareness of being ocean minded. Hailey and Sierra strive to promote active lifestyles of surfing, healthy eating, and having a positive body image, as well as animal abuse awareness, environmental issues, and sustainability and social injustices.
Hailey finds motivation in clean, glassy waves, warm water and also enjoys yoga, horseback riding, running, and reading. Her favorite waves are The Lane, Lowers, Mitchell’s, along with Ano Nuevo, and she hopes to one day surf the legendary rights of Jeffrey’s Bay. Hailey recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communication.
