Avery Aydelotte is an energetic, athletic and kindhearted young lady who just loves to surf. As a naturally gifted athlete with a passion for surfing, Avery’s is completely focused on furthering her competitive career. Avery finished 1st Place Overall in the 2011-2012 NSSA Southeast Conference Open Girls and Explorer Girls Divisions, as well as 1st Place Overall in the Eastern Surfing Association Treasure Coast District Girls Division. Qualifying for the 2013 Surfing America Prime East Series, Avery made the finals in the U16 Girls Division at the first event of the season in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In addition to her surfing accomplishments, she has also been an Honor Roll Student since Kindergarten and understands the importance of her education. When she’s not at school or hitting the surf, Avery loves to read, skateboard, play volleyball and basketball, or just hang out with her family. Avery is also actively involved in her community and enjoys helping others. Avery recently joined team Ocean Minded in the SIMA Stokes Me Fundraising Challenge. With Avery’s help, Ocean Minded placed 5th in the contest, and Avery placed 2nd in the country as an individual fundraiser in the Stokes Me challenge, raising $2,896 alone! Avery is also sponsored by Dakine, West Wetsuits and Ohana Surf Shop.
