The simple idea to Be Ocean Minded™ is the foundation of our company. Being ‘ocean minded’ and living an ‘ocean lifestyle’ come with the responsibility of taking care of the beaches and water-ways we call home.
Since 1996, we have been organizing community beach cleanups around the world, and educating our customers on the importance of leaving their chosen playgrounds in better condition than when they were found. As a brand, we aim to use repurposed and sustainable materials in our footwear whenever possible. As a group of individuals, we have made a commitment to Live, Protect and Respect our environment. Together we are ‘ocean minded.’
To support these environmental efforts, we also partner with non-profits such as WiLDCOAST, the Surfrider Foundation and California Coastkeeper. Each month we host a Trashless Tuesday office beach cleanup, in addition to a regional beach cleanup with Surfrider and Coastkeeper.
