Each year, hundreds of surfers, paddlers and ocean minded folks unite to raise awareness for our environment and keeping our beaches and oceans clean, and this year was no exception. More than a thousand people gathered at the Ocean Beach Pier this past Sunday the Surfrider Foundation’s 21st Annual Paddle for Clean Water.Ocean Minded was proud to sponsor this amazing event and hosted the post-paddle beach cleanup to help spread the message that eventually, everything ends up in the ocean. Haley Haggerstorm of the Surfrider Foundation San Diego Chapter was also helping spread the Ocean Minded message throughout the day in this news clip from CBS 8.
