Over 115 Pounds of trash cleaned from Solana Beach, CA May 17, 2009

Ocean Minded teamed up with Earl Warren Middle School’s Ocean Club, and Transworld Surf Magazine to host a beach cleanup at Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach, California. Despite the lack of sunshine, over 40 people came out to help comb the beach for all the trash they could find. After 2 hours of cleaning the group was able to amass and properly dispose of over 115 pounds of trash
