On Earth Day, April 22, 2009 Ocean Minded sponsored the GOMA Cup, a celebrity golf tournament, in Boracay, Philippines. After the tournament, over 200 participants and celebrities joined Ocean Minded in cleaning the beach. The group was able to amass and properly dispose of over 5o bags of trash, weighing approximately 312 pounds.
