Ocean Minded Presents Surfrider Foundation with Donation

On Thursday April 24th, 2008 the Ocean Minded team visited the Surfrider Foundation at their new office to present them a $10,000 donation check.

“When I started Ocean Minded back in 1996 I wanted to make a difference and give back to the ocean. Surfrider was a natural partner for us since day one,” said Gary Ward, Ocean Minded’s Founder.
“We share the same spirit in wanting to make a difference in life. We are just getting started with our donations for Surfrider and as our brand go so will the size of the checks. Surf rider has amazing staff members like Matt McClain and Stephanie. It has been great to see the whole surf industry get behind Surf rider, because as a whole we are a powerful Group.
